About The Fishing on Eagle Lake
Eagle Lake is well known as one of the most exciting and diverse fisheries in northwest Ontario. Famous for its history as a trophy fishery, Eagle Lake is also recognized as a "consistent producer" of quality fish including: Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake trout, Small mouth bass, perch and of course, world class musky fishing.
With over 68,000 acres of water to explore, an average depth of 22 ft and over 490 islands and plenty of underwater structure such as reefs, sand bars, deep weed edges and feeder creeks, the lake produces numbers as well as trophy fish of all five species.
Waldhof Bay Lodge is located on the northwest shore of the lake and offers numerous sheltered bays, islands, narrows and hotspots, all within a short boat ride from camp.At Waldhof Bay Lodge, we teach you how to fish our lake and provide you with a map and advice on where the fish are biting, what lures to use and how to catch em.
Fishing for walleye, northern pike, musky, smallmouth bass and lake trout on Eagle Lake will be an unforgettable experience. Any angler will appreciate the variety of species and the abundant populations of fish on Eagle Lake.

In addition to numerous opportunities on Eagle Lake, we also offer daily fly-in trips to remote lakes, leaving from our dock each morning and returning in the evening. For the adventurous angler, we will take you on an off-road trip into a remote lake that is defiantly "off the beaten path", drop you off and pick you up that evening. Guides are available at prevailing rates and can help make you trip more enjoyable.
